Thank you to Yahoo! Mail for sponsoring this post about staying connected. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
E-mail probably means more to me today than it ever has before. When I quit my job to stay home with Bryson, I never thought I would get the chance to actually work at home. Not only work at home, but do something I genuinely like to do.
I’m talking about this blog. I’ve kept an online journal of sorts since I was a a pre-teen, but I never had a clue that I could turn my love of writing into something that would earn money.
Without e-mail, this blog wouldn’t be what it is today. Without a fabulous group of women who were willing to share information and encouragement, it wouldn’t be what it is today. Do I make a living? Absolutely not, but that isn’t my goal either. My goal is to surround myself with a community of supportive friends through my blog. I love to interact with y’all. I have recently implemented a new comment system that will allow me to more easily reply to your questions.

I can spot 10 different things in this photo
inspired by e-mails I’ve received.
Without e-mail, I wouldn’t be able to give to my readers like I do. I wouldn’t be able to offer giveaways from generous companies. I wouldn’t be able to have the relationships that I do with companies and fellow bloggers. I wouldn’t be able to get in touch with most of these companies without e-mail.
Without e-mail, I would probably be a lonely little housewife and mother. My house would be a little bit cleaner, but I would feel alone. I check my e-mail daily, all throughout the day. It’s how I keep in touch with others, but also with myself. I find new recipes, new ideas, and new ways to save money in my inbox every day. As weird as it may sound, my e-mail account helps me be a better me. A better mom, a better wife, a better homemaker- all from one simple account.
While you are here, check out this cute little video. It’s short but cute and to the point.
