When it comes to clothing and shoe shopping, you can usually count me out. Seriously, I can spend hours in a home décor store, but a shoe store? That’s more my husband’s thing. He has more clothes and shoes than I do… way more.
I can shop for my husband or my kids any day of the week though. I just hate shopping for me. Crazy, huh? I can’t resist all of the adorable items for my little ones, from hair bows to kids flip flops, I love it all. I wonder if that is just part of being mom though? I remember my mom would take me shopping, but she’d rarely ever buy anything for herself. She’d spend a ton of money on me and she’d come home empty handed.
Now, I find myself doing the exact same thing. I can’t remember the last time I bought myself a pair of jeans or a pair of womens sandals. My hubby actually bought me a new pair of tennis shoes for Christmas, because I would never buy them for myself. He picked them out all by himself and he did a much better job than I would have! Like I said though, my husband has a ton of clothes and shoes, so he actually enjoys the process of picking items out. I’ll probably let him do my shoe shopping from now on!
So, tell me: Is coming home with bags for your hubby and kids, but nothing for yourself just a mom thing? Could your husband ever pick out a pair of shoes for you that you’d actually like?

>Must be a mom thing. I can specifically go in for something I need, and I'll come out with tons of stuff for the kids and absolutely nothing for me. The only things I want to by for "myself" are things for our home, which is still usually for Alyssa's walls. haha
