Chicken Cordon Bleu Delivered to My Door & Omaha Steaks #Giveaway

If I ever get rich, this is what I will eat. Seriously.
This is what a guy should feed to a woman on a date. And claim he made it.
You should e-mail the rep and tell her we’ll need a few more meals to make up our minds, haha.

Those are just a couple things my husband said over our Chicken Cordon Bleu meal. He was so crazy passionate about this meal that I tried to get him to write the review. I don’t think we’ve had such a lively conversation over a meal, about the meal… ever. We chatted about this dinner the entire time we were eating it. Because it was that good.

We rarely eat out a fancy restaurants because we always leave disappointed, thinking we could have made the same meal we just paid a lot of money for, only better and cheaper. So, for us to be so darn crazy over meal that took less than a minute of true preparation and around 30 minutes in the oven is crazy unusual. But, it’s completely true!

I’m just going to be honest, we don’t eat a lot of frozen pre-cooked food. By that, I mean you might find a bag of fries in our freezer once every six months, but other than that, we prefer to cook most of our meals from scratch. For the most part, it’s me. I just don’t like the taste of frozen foods.

So, when I took on the opportunity with Omaha Steaks, I did it out of pure selfishness, thinking I would get 2 nights off the hook from cooking. I didn’t have any expectations as far as the food was concerned. I certainly didn’t expect it to be delicious or for my husband to rave about it.

Funny how those things work out.

The Chicken Cordon Bleu, Stuffed Baked Potatoes, and Green Beans with Red Peppers was so delicious that we ate the same exact meal two weeks in a row. And, yes. We talked about the meal the second time around too. Now, I’m really wanting to try some seafood or steak from Omaha Steaks.
