I think, at some point, every nursing mother questions her supply. I know that I did, still do sometimes. Looking at Bella, you can tell I don’t have supply issues now, but for the first couple months, I worried. A lot. Almost constantly.
The wonderful people at Motherlove sent me their More Milk Plus capsules. I’d read fabulous things about these pills, so I was more than happy to give them a try. The suggested use is to take 1 capsule 4 times per day or women over 175lbs take 2 capsules 3 times per day. You can take them with 1-2 oz. of liquid, but you need to avoid additional liquids 20 minutes before and after each dose.
The first day, I took 2 capsules at a time. By the next morning, I knew I could give them a positive review. I woke up with leaking, hard, full, and painful boobs! Seriously, I was like WOW. I had to to pump and I expressed more milk than I ever had before. So, I cut back to one capsule and it’s been gravy ever since. I have felt much more confident with my supply. I’ve tried several products to help boost supply and I would 100% recommend the Motherlove More Milk Plus capsules. If you take 4 capsules daily, you can get a month supply for around $30. When you consider the cost of formula, $30 is cheap and I saw results within 24 hours, so it’s definitely worth it!
If you can handle the taste, I’ve read wonderful things about the Motherlove More Milk Plus Liquid. I haven’t tried it, because I’m afraid that I would never be able to get it down. I’d love to hear what you have to say if you’ve tried it!
Motherlove has products for pregnancy, birth, baby, and breastfeeding. I’ve tried several products including their diaper rash relief salve. The Diaper Rash & Thrush Relief is awesome. It’s all I use on Bella now. If she starts turning a little red, I put just a tiny bit on her and see improvement by the next day. Most of the time, the redness is completely gone within 24 hours. You can get a 1oz container for right under $10 and it will last you forever. Seriously, I think my container will last for a couple years!
I also have a container of the Motherlove Green Salve. It’s great for bug bites, bee stings, and poison ivy. It helps take the sting and itch away. I keep this in my diaper bag, so I always have it with me.

Today I bought the Liquid More Milk Plus. It is POTENT in taste LOL but luckily, it subsides pretty quick.
I’m hoping I have a positive response I can tell you, I kind of debated getting the More Milk Special Blend that had the Goat’s Rue but hopefully, what I have is what I need.
I wasn’t brave enough to try the liquid, but I’ve heard it’s awesome. I hope it works for you & those babies!
