My e-mail accounts are a necessary part of my life. Really, I’d hate to live without e-mail. When the tornados hit a few weeks ago and I was unable to check my e-mail or update any of my accounts, I was afraid that people thought I was dead. Yep, that’s how often I use my e-mail.
My parents bought me my first computer when I was in the 4th grade. I laugh when I think back to some of my first e-mail accounts- they all included things like “xo” haha. I remember long e-mails concerning my undying love for my boyfriend. Oh, those were the days. Every make-up and break-up recorded and saved in a folder named just for him. Thankfully, I’ve deleted all of those old e-mail accounts and the included e-mails. I thought I knew it all and had the “man” of my dreams. Haha, wrong. On all accounts.
My junior class in 2006.
The “in” thing when I was teen was to fill out surveys and pass them around to all of your friends. There were websites devoted to posting new surveys. You would receive the survey that your friend had filled out, delete their answers, fill it back in with your answers, and then pass it back around. Most had the same basic questions. Name, age, eye color, etc. were almost always included. Sometimes, you’d come across an interesting one, but eventually they all became boring. I can only imagine how many of my answers have changed from then until now. Did y’all do that or was it just a weird thing we did in Alabama?
Gosh, now I kinda wish I had one of those surveys to show y’all. I’d love to go back and read a few of my answers. I definitely didn’t think I’d meet the love of my life at 14, marry him and have two kids by 22. Funny how things fall so perfectly into place when you are so busy making big plans.
I thought the video above was just super cute and sweet. It doesn’t last long, so take a quick peek!
