Easy & Cheap Easter Decor (How To)

002

I absolutely adore the large window in our living room.  One of my favorite ways to decorate seasonally is by dressing it up.  I needed something for Easter, but I wanted it to be easy, fairly quick, & cheap!

What You Need:

  • Plastic Easter eggs with holes (I used 2 sizes)
  • Fishing Line
  • Patience  (it takes time!)

How to:

This really need no explanation.  Simply thread your fishing line through the eggs.  I used regular and large size eggs.  I threaded from the top of one egg, the bottom of the next, and just kept going like that.  It can be time consuming, but it’s cute and cheap.  I’m definitely saving mine for next year, so I won’t have to spend time threading eggs on fishing line ever again!  I wrapped the fishing line around my curtain rod and voila- we are ready for Easter!

Do you decorate for Easter?

    >This is a really cute idea. I also have a large picture window in my living room, and I usually just dress it up with gel clings! Right now I have adorable little Easter bunnies and flowers that I got at the $1 section at Target.
