Fun & Learning with Wikki Stix (Review)

During the past few weeks, I’ve started to become more and more interested in early learning and crafting with Bryson.  I think part of it stems from feeling like he isn’t getting as much attention since Bella is here.  That was to be expected, but it takes more effort now to spend one-on-one time with him.  I had no idea a product like Wikki Stix could be a total game changer.

You’ll want to click the photo below & read a bit about this cool product before proceeding with my review.

We received the The Wikki Stix Book of Wiggles, Squiggles & Curlicues to review and have already had so much fun with it.  It is a board book that comes with 36 Wikki Stix to help complete the cute pictures inside.  Because this book is hard, it even holds up to my rowdy two year old.  This is an activity that I seriously enjoy doing with Bryson.  We do more than complete the photos, we’ll outline random things on each page.  He loves for me to help him make the car featured on the first page.  He tells me which color we need and what color he is holding.  I have caught him sticking these in his mouth more than once and while that isn’t exactly preferable, it is a relief to know that Wikki Stix are completely safe.  The best part?  There is no mess- none.  We can play with these while I’m nursing the baby and sitting on the couch.  When finished, you can press them onto the original backing that comes with them and you are set to go.  Overall, we love them.

Wikki Stix are a wonderful, quiet activity.  I’m going to throw some in my diaper bag, so I’ll have them at all times.  Being small, simple, and mess-free makes them perfect for restaurants and long waits.  They’ll help keep Bryson’s attention with no problems.  I can also see using these on long car rides and we’ll get to try that out next month when we go visit my in-laws.

The prices are super reasonable.  I expected them to be much higher.  Here are a few kits that I am going to pick up:  Alphabet Fun Cards for Learning, Activity Set, Basic Shapes Creative Fun Kit, and the Numbers and Counting Fun Cards.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.  These are great crafting and learning tools, so I want an arsenal of them to incorporate in all of our activities!

We received a product in exchange for an honest review.  No other compensation was provided and all opinions remain my own, as always.
