Thanksgiving Thursday (Week of 10/31/2010)

I haven’t participated in Thanksgiving Thursday in a few weeks, but I am as thankful as ever.  Here is this weeks list:

• “Jack”  (a.k.a. Frontierville) I thought that I would never play Facebook games, but Bryson played at his gangan’s a few times and LOVES it.  He’ll run to the computer yelling “Jack! Jack!”  We sit and play for a while.  I tell myself that it is educational for him, because he knows all of the animals and will point them out for you.  He knows exactly who Jack is too!
• Bella Grace She is as stubborn as her momma!  So far, she has refused to fully cooperate for her ultrasounds, but that means we get to see her more often.  On Monday, I got see her in 4D and she looks a lot like her brother did.
• AllRecipes.com  This has been my go-to website for delicious recipes for years.  I wanted to make Chicken & Dumplings last night, so I looked up a recipe with over 700 reviews and 4,5 stars.  It turned out wonderfully and I will definitely be making it again.
• Motivated Moms  I am still head over heels for this chore chart and I thought y’all might like to know that you can try it out for the rest of 2010 for only $2!  They also have the 2011 calendar ready to order.
• Thrift Shopping  Mom & I spent the entire day last Friday shopping in Birmingham.  I bought my husband tons of nice button-up shirts.  I paid $3.99 – $4.99 for most of them.  After looking them up online, I realized I had gotten a better deal that I realized.  Most of them retailed for $60 – $70 each and one retailed for $95!   (I have to know who would pay that for a shirt and then donate it in new condition!?)
