Our master bedroom is sad. Really, it is. I’ve put so much time and effort into every other room in our house, but our bedroom has been neglected. I’ve actually decorated and re-decorated almost every room, but still, our bedroom sits looking blah.
I recently rearranged it and I am determined to make it beautiful before summer’s end. I’m dreaming of some new, less chunky, furniture that won’t be happening anytime soon. I’ve browsed new headboards, even though I’m going to make do with what I have for now. If anything, I need to be looking at king headboards, so we can fit the entire family in the bed. A toddler, a baby, my husband, and myself- we easily fill up a queen size bed.
I love the look of upholstered headboards. They add such a classy and clean touch. If we ever build the spacious master bedroom of my dreams, I’d love to include one like the photo above. Of course, my kids will have to be grown and gone, because I can already see the grimy fingerprints on it. Can’t you?
For now, I’m going to continue working with the furniture that I already own. I’m going to work on a photo gallery wall of my husband and I in the coming weeks. Now that I have the rest of the house decorated, it’s time to focus on our master bedroom.
