I rarely talk about the furry members of our family. Not because we don’t love them, but because once you have children, they take a back seat. Meet Tucker:
He has been a member of the family since July 2007. I had owned a chocolate Cocker Spaniel years before and always wanted another. When we came across Tucker, I knew he was meant to be mine. After getting him home and going through his paperwork, I realized we share the same birthday! Of course, I have about 18 years on him, but we were both born on April 16th. He is now three years old and I could not ask for a better dog for Bryson. Bryson was born about 20 months after we bought Tucker, but they are best friends.
When I was contacted by the folks over at Hartz and told they were putting an Ultimate Pet Gift Guide together, I knew Tucker would love to be apart of it. We received three different toys from Hartz. We rarely buy toys for Tucker, because he destroys them in a matter of minutes. I was completely floored when the toys we received didn’t fall apart after Tucker playing with them. We’ve had them about two weeks and he plays with them every single day and each toy has held up!
Hartz® At Play Frisky Frolic Pet Toy: Made of specially formulated, safe and durable latex for a long and enjoyable chewing experience, these textured dog toys come in a variety of fun characters and bright colors. Price: $3.89
This is Tucker’s absolute favorite. If he can’t find it or it gets stuck under something, he cries until we get it out. I love that it is so durable and can stand up to hours of play every single day. Bryson will run through the house with it, Tucker on his heels chasing him, and it is great for playing fetch. We will be buying this product again in the future, without a doubt.
Hartz® Run ‘N Romp™: The classic Run ‘N Romp ™ dog toy comes in an assortment of colorful characters. Each toy is constructed of durable canvas on the outside, soft polyester filling on the inside, with a squeaker for added fun. Price: $2.19
We have had a lot of with this toy too. It has proved to be durable as well and I especially like that it is canvas on the outside. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am thinking it will hold up in the washer when it gets too dirty.
Hartz® Game, Set, Match®: This classic tennis ball dog toy features a custom rubber formula made exclusively for Hartz® — perfect for active dogs who love to chew, fetch, catch and chase. Price: $1.69
I had to put these up, because Tucker kept getting them caught under furniture and would cry until someone got them out for him. These are best for outdoors and are of course, the classic dog toy. These balls are the only ones we’ve owned that Tucker hasn’t been able to destroy! Other ball dog toys don’t last more than a day or two and they are shredded.
