As most of you know, I buy and resell brand name baby items. It’s just a hobby I picked up a couple of months ago and the extra cash has definitely made a huge difference. A large part of the work is finding out which items I should buy and which items I should leave sitting on the shelf. While I can never be 100% sure an item is going to do well, I do use shopping comparison sites like Pebble.com to help determine if an item is worth the initial investment.
For instance, a few months ago I picked a Bjorn Travel Crib Light for $20.99. I only knew that Bjorn was a big name, but had never heard of their Travel Crib. I came home to do my research, expecting it to be worth about $60. I hopped online to do my comparisons and here is what I saw:
It was in excellent used condition and ended up selling for over $175! See why Pebble.com comes in handy? Without shopping comparison sites, I would honestly be lost. Not only with my business, but in my everyday shopping. I always compare prices to find the best deal possible and Pebble.com makes it super easy on me.
So, you may be asking what makes Pebble.com different than other shopping comparison sites? In my opinion, it is their questions & answer section. If you are looking at an item and you want more information than is given in the product description, simply post your question. Someone that owns the item and/or knows the answer can pop in and give you an answer. If you have an answer to a question, just click on the “Post an Answer” button and help that person out. It is an easy process and I think it is a fabulous feature.
Whether you are buying or selling (or both!) Pebble.com is a great resource. Ask questions, get answers, and find the best deal. It doesn’t get better than that!
