Wednesday, Bryson and I decided to go to Unclaimed Baggage. We were supposed to meet my mom and uncle there, but they were running late. So, I loaded Bryson in his stroller and in we went. I always head to the baby section first, can’t control myself, it always happens. I’m browsing and I start finding so many name brand items for dirt cheap. Because Bryson was in his stroller, I obviously could not push a stroller and a shopping cart. I’m pretty darn good at multi-tasking, but I’m not to that point yet! So, I have so much piled on top of his stroller that if I move, it is all going to fall. I looked like a nut and I knew it. My mom and Marty, my uncle, finally arrived and brought me a shopping cart. Did I mention I also had a peapod in one hand?
So, what did I find?

Those are the things I am most proud of. I also found a few outfits for Bryson, a sling, a few name brand changing pads, a pair of Stride Rite sandals, and a peapod. I spent $103 total, but the Bjorn Travel Crib Light is selling on e-bay right now for $153.50, so it has already paid for my entire trip!
Things I learned on said trip?
They have shopping carts, just like Wal Mart. This means I do not have to take the stroller in, just the shopping cart cover. Whew, that makes things much easier! Another thing? Go on Thursdays. While they put out items everyday, they “restock” most on Wednesdays.
From now on, Byrson & I will be shopping each Thursday and I can only hope we have half the luck as this time. He loves shopping, getting to reach out and touch new things and he especially loves watching the people and the colors.
Oh, and on top of the two new teeth this week brought, it also brought another new achievement for Bryson. He is now crawling, anywhere he wants to go, he can. We are in trouble now!

>I wish we had some place this great to shop at around here. Awesome finds!
I am following you from the MBC Under 100 Club. Please visit my blog.
>Never heard of the unclaimed baggage store. Wish we had one! Sounds like you made out like a bandit!
And watch out – the little man is mobile…..life will never be the same!!!! Enjoy it!
>So that is what they do with your baggage when you lose it. I had no idea. I feel bad for all those families that lost their expensive stuff! But it looks like you won out.
>I have never heard of this! I am totally calling my airport tomorrow to see if they do something similar! That's great!
Bummer for the person who lost all the Ergo and Bjorn stuff, but hurrah for you! 🙂
