TILT- UV SunSense Wristbands

When I was asked to try out the UVSunSense wristbands, I jumped at the chance. I admit, I have not always been as careful when it comes to protection from the sun. I remember spending days outdoors using suntan lotion instead of sunscreen, all for that glamorous tan. Everything changed for me when Bryson was born. I want to keep him protected, but I also want to make sure I am protected. I don’t want Bryson to have to watch his mother battle cancer, simply because she didn’t take care of her skin and protect herself from the sun.

We apply sunscreen before going out on the boat, but how can we be sure when it is time to re-apply it? You never really know and if you are like me, you just take your best guess. Now, you can be sure. The wristbands change colors when activated, when you need to re-apply your sunscreen, and when you need to get out of the sun.

Here is some information from their website.

“Introducing the UVSunSense™ wristband. A convenient, reliable means to monitor exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays for you and your children.

The UVSunSense™ wristband is engineered to be used in conjunction with a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher to alert you to potential excessive exposure as you work or play in the sun.

According to the American Cancer Society, a sunburn will fade, but damage to deeper layers of skin remains and can eventually cause cancer. That’s why sun-safe habits should begin in childhood and last a lifetime.

UVSunSense™ wristbands provide you with a simple sun-sensitive gauge through color change that alerts you when you need to reapply sunscreen and when to get out of the sun and its potential damaging effects.

Add the UVSunSense™ wristband to your suncare product offerings to help your customers enjoy a healthier future in the sun!”

These wristbands are recyclable and are so simple to use. Simply put on on, apply your sunscreen, and you are set. If you’d like to watch a demonstration of exactly how this works, you can go here.

You can order these from many places online, including Amazon, or you can visit this page to find a retailer near you.
