how I relax
First thought? hahaha. What is that? Relax? pshh.
I have a 2 year old and an 8 week old.
Relax? Seriously?
On second thought, I remember that I have a wonderful husband. One night a week, I run a super hot bath, fill it with bubbles, lock the door, and grab a book. I’m currently reading “The Help.” If I’ve had a bad day or I’m stressed to the max, I may even drink half a bud light. That’s a rare occasion though. I ignore the rambunctious toddler and the crying baby on the other side of the door for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes, one night a week? It works for now. After that, it’s back to the real world. That 30 minutes is like a little piece of Heaven though. It gives me time to relax, rejuvenate, and re-energize.

>Calgon…take us away! LOL!
>Everyone needs a ME time in their lives!!!!
>I don't know why but I've never loved bubble baths (well, since I was little I guess)! I think I'm missing out because all of my friends love them. 🙂
>Sounds like you had a great time:)
>That is precisely why I started taking my showers at night! It was my only "me" time for a while and I soaked it up! (Literally! HA!)
So glad you get your little slice of Heaven each week!
