my most treasured item
Okay, I know this is going to sound weird, but I’m using my most treasured item right this moment. Yep, my computer. Allow me to explain? Back on day 4, I mentioned that our house burned several years ago and we lost tons of special photos. Well, while I have most of my photos backed up now, I don’t have them ALL backed up. Therefore, I’d be devastated if something were to happen to my computer. I have photos on here from the day of our wedding, the day Bella was born, Bryson’s birthdays, etc. There are so many moments captured and kept inside this computer. I really should check into a website that automatically backs everything up for you. Do any of y’all use one of those?
A few other things that I treasure:
- my wedding ring, my engagement ring, and several other rings from various occasions.
- a wood carving that was made for us after Bryson was born. A very sweet man that we worked with at the time carved it for us and then wood burned Bryson’s name, DOB, and a scripture on the back of it. It is a carving of a mom cradling a child in her arms. When he gave it to us, I seriously cried. It’s just so special.
- an empty perfume bottle that was my Mawmaw’s.
- other items that were my grandparent’s or great-grandparents

>My treasured family photos are at the top of my list too. We moved across the country when I was a kid and somehow we lost all our baby books and photos. I've heard some bad things about cloud sites that update from your cpu, but honestly I'm still a little interested. It's just so scary to think we could lose them all in a second.
