a birthday celebration
I absolutely love birthdays- especially when I get to plan the day for my kids. For Bryson’s first birthday, we went all out. We had two parties- one on his actual birthDAY and one that weekend. It was a lot of fun picking out a theme and making it come alive. I know he’ll never remember it, but it was so much fun for me and I have plenty of photos to share with him one day. You can see photos HERE, if you are interested.
Because I was nine months pregnant for his second birthday, we opted out of the large party. Instead, we went for a day at the Tennessee Aquarium. I’m so glad we did, because Bryson loved it. So much so that we now have a membership! He did, of course, get a cake (complete with a tractor!) and some presents too. My parents came over that night to celebrate with us. It was very low key, but I think it was perfect. You can read all about it and see some pretty photos HERE.
For his third birthday, I think I want to throw him another party. It’s hard to come up with ideas, because it’s always so cold. I’d love to rent a bounce house, but a December birthday rules that out. I may have to see if we can rent a building large enough for a jump house… Now, that’s an idea! (talking to myself here) I’m excited to plan Miss Bella’s first birthday too. Having a girl is just too much fun and I’ll probably throw her a Hello Kitty party complete with lots of pink!

Now, it’s time to link up! Please try to visit one another and comment. If everyone visits at least the person (or two) before them, then we’ll all get some comments.
