Over the past few days, the mailman has dropped off several fun outdoor toys for the kids. A new Little Tikes teeter-totter, Little Tikes tee-ball set, and Fisher-Price basketball goal joined the rest of our toys that are beginning to make our backyard look like a day care.
What do they play with the most?
Yep, a box. The next day, it was a plastic bowl….
Note to self: Stop buying toys. Start recycling instead.
Of course! T likes to color on all our old boxes. Works for me!
It’s universal! Too funny!
Isn’t amazing how a box can entertain them for hours?
My hubby taped up a box for our little one to play in also!!
lol! This is SO true! My kids would give anything for a big box when they were smaller! Once my dad had a huge box that he gave them and they played with it for months and months, silly kids!
I loved playing in boxes when I was a kid. I can’t wait until my son is ready to do this so I can join him, lol.
Happens ALL the time. My kids used to do it and I did it as a child.
I remember sleeping in a box for a whole week when I was a kid – probably because I shared a room with 3 other sisters and I wanted some “space” of my own. =)
Love the photos… everyone looks so happy.
that’s the truth!!
Isn’t it the truth. They love those things!
I agree!!My kids love empty boxes!
I was a box kid! Boxes are so much more fun!
Looks like what happens with boxes at our house lol
lol my house is the same way. No more toys I swear!!
Isn’t that always the way – the boxes are the most loved toys. Yet we keep buying toys…will we ever learn? 🙂
I agree! My kids stole a box last week and went outdoors running all over with it!
Isn’t that hilarious? All you have to do is get them a nice box and they’re happy for hours!
The boxes are always, always the hit. So true to forget the toys and go for the boxes … you can get them for free too at the stores!;)
isn’t that always the way lol
Yup. My daughter just spent hours turning a banker’s box into a car. I love kids.
