Kids love sharing everything from toys to snacks to germs but their comes a point in every kid’s life that they realize that they have things that are theirs and no-one else’s. Yes, we all know that feeling the first time they say that something is ‘mine’ and it will only worse from their. It’s only a matter of time until they decide to capture personal space for themselves whether there’s space to go around or not. If you have kids sharing a room and one or both of them is past the point of sharing that space then you’re probably at the end of your wits about how to make enough space that they can both be happy and comfortable. Don’t fret, just free up half of the room by stacking their beds on top of each other. Twin over full bunk beds can be a unique and fun way to give your kids a personal space all to themselves without having to free up a whole separate room to separate them.
With the space constraints parents face more and more each day, bunk beds can be the solution to making more room without having to sacrifice your own space or dealing with the stress of uprooting your family trying to find a new place with space to accommodate everyone. Not only are bunk beds a practical solution, but it can also be a fun creative way to let kids personalize their space. Letting them pick their own sheets, pillows or even letting them paint or customize their portion of the bunk bed themselves is a great way to let them put their personality into the space they live and play. In addition, your children will be closer by spending more time together while they play and sleep. If you’re worried about the space in your home or just want to condense the furniture in your kids’ rooms to nip possible issues in the bud, bunk beds could be just the answer you’re looking for.
What do you think? Have you had success using bunk beds?
My children will soon be sharing a room and bunk beds are definitely what we will be going for so that we have the maximum space for all their individual things.
My girls will be getting bunk beds soon. I can’t wait to free up that floor space!
If we decide to have another baby, my girls will have to bunk together and this is the only solution I can think of to let them still have some SPACE in the room!
