I’m not even gonna lie. This DVD captured my son’s heart and now he wants to watch “DINOSAUR TRAIN!!!” multiple times per day. I know the theme song by heart and sometimes my husband and I find ourselves breaking out in the Dinosaur Train tune. I’m glad we have Netflix so we can mix it up and watch other Dinosaur Train shows too. This DVD has 8 episodes on it.
The good new is that I actually enjoy this series- even the catchy theme song. I love that Bryson stays engaged and he is learning. We plan to take him to the Discovery Museum and he’ll get to dig for “dinosaur fossils” so I think he will enjoy that even more after getting so into the “Dinosaur Train” show! This is definitely a show I would recommend to parents. They also have a super neat interactive website. There, kids can discover natural history and the science of paleontology through fun games and activities. I also noticed some cute coloring pages you can print for your children.
Get on board the Dinosaur Train with Buddy, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and his adoptive family of Pteranodons as they embark on a roaring, exploring world tour adventure to discover a variety of dinosaurs inhabiting the globe as they journey to Asia, Europe and Africa. From the world-renowned Jim Henson Company, PBS KIDS and Paramount Home Entertainment, the DINOSAUR TRAIN: PTERANODON FAMILY WORLD TOUR ADVENTURE DVD includes eight exciting edu-tainment adventures, interactive games, coloring pages, a dinosaur reference guide and parent information. Boasting incredible CGI animation and an average monthly viewership of 11.9 million, the “Dinosaur Train” is a Parents’ Choice recommended PBS KIDS TV series and is one of the top ten shows for kids 2 to 5.
DINOSAUR TRAIN is a Parents’ Choice Recommended TV series, and the DINOSAUR TRAIN website received a Parents’ Choice Silver Award and was the recipient of a prestigious 2010 Prix Jeunesse Award.

>I've heard about Dinosaur Train before, but never purchased it. Probably because my first child was a girl so I thought this would be a perfect series for a BOY. But, because it is Jim Henson…my daughter would probably LOVE it! 🙂
