My energy is gone again. At 35 weeks pregnant, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised and I should be thankful that I only have around 5 weeks left with no energy. In all honesty, I do not think we’ll make it to a full 40 weeks. My body seems so different than with Bryson and every day I can feel it preparing for Bella a little bit more. With that said, here is a post full of random thoughts.

I was watching HLN this morning when I overheard that a mother is suing McDonalds because their happy meals use toys to entice children. Okay, seriously?! As a parent, you either make the choice to take your child to McDonalds and order a happy meal—or you don’t. If you let your whining three year old talk you into going to McDonalds, well, that’s on YOU. Fast food restaurants do not offer backbones on their menu, but if you can’t stand up to your child, you need to find one ASAP.

I am patiently awaiting two items from The Rusted Chain. I love Beki’s jewelry and I actually had two people on my list this year that I could order it for. I ordered a necklace many months ago and have worn it since it arrived. It wasn’t until I went to order Christmas gifts that I read that you aren’t supposed to wear it in the shower. Oops! So far, my necklace still looks great & like I said. I’ve had it for over six months and haven’t taken it off- I’ve showered a time or two, haha.

I won a $50 gift certificate to DaySpring from Myra over at My Blessed Life. I really, really want this tea towel, but 18!? for a tea towel? I mean, yes, it is gorgeous, but I can’t justify that cost- even if I did win $50. I’m really leaning toward this print right now. What do you think? I love, love, love their kitchen collections too. Hmmm.. decisions, decisions..

If you have a bread machine, you MUST make these homemade bread machine cinnamon rolls. They’re pretty much a slice of heaven in a pan. So delicious in fact that this will be our special breakfast Christmas morning. The best part? You can mix them up ahead, put them in a pan, and freeze them. OR if you are going to be using them within a day or two, you can just put them in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake ‘em.
Okay, that is all of my random thoughts for the day. I am sure that you feel enlightened and that you have learned something you could not live another day without knowing. </sarcasm>
Hope y’all are having a great week!

>#1 – totally agree with you on this one! no one forces you to buy a happy meal…
#2 – $18 is lot for 1 tea towel. The print is super cute esp if you'll get it at such a low price with you gc.
#3 – going to try this recipe in my bread machine! Gotta find a way to make it dairy free though…hmmm…but I have missed cinnamon buns. there's nothing like them!
