First off, I am so thankful Autumn is right around the corner. This summer has been so unbearably hot that cooking was out of the question most days. We ate up some freezer meals, grilled out, and cooked a few times. This weekend was beautiful and I am hoping to return to cooking most nights soon. I also plan to have my freezer stocked with meals before this baby arrives in January. I am shooting for at least 30 meals.
Here are some of our favorite meals & sides I have cooked in the past.
Homemade Refried Beans
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
Brown Bag Burritos
When we cook soups, stews, or chili, we make a large pot and freeze the leftovers. We always have enough for three meals.
I also keep a few batches of meatballs in the freezer and bags of sloppy joe mix. I will share a few recipes with you over the coming weeks.

What are your favorite freezer meals? I would love for you to share them, as I am always looking for new additions!
>The pumpkin chocolate chip muffins sound delish! We love making chicken stir fry up ahead of time (I double a dinner and freeze half), meatballs, waffles, and baked mac and cheese. They all thaw out so easily!
>I love freezer meals. Thanks for the recipes!
>You know what? I don't prepare too many meals ahead of time. I know it is a great time saver and should revisit it again. That cheeseburger meatloaf sounds delish.
>I checked out the cheeseburger meatloaf. It seems to have gotten a lot of good feedback! I would like to try it, but what kind of container do you freeze it in to keep it fresh and how long can it stay in the freezer?
