FedEx and SafeKids Offer Halloween Safety Tips #Giveaway

Halloween is this coming Monday and I’m sure many parents are scrambling to buy or make the perfect costumes.  Kids are looking forward to dressing and bringing home some super sweet candy.  FedEx has teamed up with SafeKids to offer safety tips and some frightening statistics. I’m sharing these, because I don’t want to see a fun night turn bad for anyone. I was alarmed to see the statistics on the number of 5-year-olds allowed to trick-or-treat alone.  This visual is truly helpful and I think all parents could benefit from giving it a quick read-over.

If you’d like to help spread the word, feel free to share this visual.  If you are on Pinterest, a good idea is to pin this to your Halloween boards so other parents will see it too.

The folks over at FedEx have put together fun gift bags full of items that will help keep your kids safe this Halloween.  Inside, you’ll find the following:

  • A reflective trick-or-treat bag
  • Mini aluminum flashlight with strap
  •  Battery operated blinking flasher
  • Reflective Safe Kids zipper pull tag
  • Reflective yellow slap bracelet
  • Reflective pumpkin sticker
  •  Reflective orange shoe laces OR green reflector strips for shoes or costumes
  • Safety tip sheet for kids and drivers
