Bryson Family Happenings

Still without air..

The parts for our central unit didn’t come in today.  We are hoping they will come in tomorrow.  If not, we are leaving Saturday for our boating trip, so we won’t be home to enjoy the air heat anyways.

Looking at the forecast, it is supposed to be at least 100 degrees Saturday while we are traveling 7 hours on the water.  I am going to pack plenty of sunscreen and water.  Thankfully, we will be able to chill in the water whenever we want.  I booked reservations at the Big River Grille and Brewing Works for Saturday night.  We have never eaten there, but have heard rave reviews.  My parents wanted to try it out when they went on this trip last year, but there was a three hour wait.  I figure if people are willing to wait three hours, it must be delicious!

We are taking Bryson to his Gangan’s (grandmother to all of you) tomorrow night.  We will pick him up Sunday.  I know we are going to have a blast, but I will definitely miss him.  He stayed two night there only a couple of times.  He goes every other Saturday and we usually pick him up on Sunday.  We are so thankful to have someone willing to keep him so often.  If you ask her though, she’ll tell you she wouldn’t have it any other way.  She adores him and he adores his Gangan.

I have a few photos from this week.  Bryson ate his first ice cream cone.  He has had ice cream before, but never in a cone.  It made for some cute pictures and he loved it!

This will probably be my last post until next week.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Stay cool!

EEK — without the air conditioner! Little M's house has no air conditioning, but has a breeze. Most days it is 90 indoors though and boy does it zap the life out of you! I can imagine your exhausted after a busy day with a toddler!

Enjoy your vacation and hope you get back to a cool house!
