Hey guys! It has been a while. Where did the month of July go? I am trying to come to grips with the fact that this year is half over which means Bryson is now closer to two than one. When people tell you have quickly children grow up, you just don’t understand until you have your own. I believed it when everyone told me, but I definitely did not understand it fully. Justin mentions school and I literally break out in tears. For some, that seems like a world away, but I feel like time is just slipping though my fingers.
Anyways, onto happier things. I had thought about getting Bryson’s hair buzzed for the entire summer. Well, I talked to hubby about it and not long after, he got his head buzzed. So, I thought what the heck? It IS just hair and will grow back, so I got Bryson’s done too. He did not want any part of the barber shop. He didn’t want to sit in the chair and he sure didn’t want them to touch him. After spraying him with a water bottle, he calmed down enough to make it through. He loves water!
You’ll have to excuse the fat lip and skinned nose. He is ALL boy so we have lots of those. Before his haircut, he looked just like his daddy. I would have never thought he could look even MORE like hubby, but that photo proves it.
We are heading out on a boat trip this weekend. We’ll be leaving Saturday morning and heading to Chattanooga. We are going with my parents and two other couples. They all went last year, but we didn’t. Bryson is going to stay with his Gangan from Friday night until Sunday. I am afraid we are going to BURN UP.
Speaking of burning up, our fan in our central until went out Monday. We have had problems with it since we bough the house, but it kept on working… until Monday. As the day went on, the house just got hotter and hotter. I finally realized our unit wasn’t blowing air, so Bry & I packed up & left. Thankfully, we were able to have someone come out that day to check it out. It will take three days for the parts to come in, so hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow. Living in Alabama without air conditioning isn’t fun.. at all! We have had record highs lately and I am so thankful for air conditioning. Bryson & I have stayed at my parents during the day and pretty much are only sleeping at home. It isn’t too bad at night.
Hopefully I will be around more often. I feel like my energy may be coming around!
