This post has been brewing in my mind. It may not be interesting to you all, but it is something I wanted to document for myself. We will be able to find out the gender is about 6 weeks. If we see little boy parts, I will seriously be shocked. This pregnancy has been so completely different than my last and I just have this gut feeling (one I never had with Bryson) that this is a little girl.
Bryson
I had morning sickness multiple times per day for at least six weeks.
Baby #2
After bragging this past weekend about how I haven’t been sick at all, I did have one bout of morning sickness at about 10:30 Tuesday night.
Bryson
I was full of energy. At the time, I was working 50+ hours a week on my feet, so I guess I didn’t have much of a choice.
Baby #2
I need naps more than Bryson does at this point. I can finally feel a bit of energy coming back, but I still take a nap at least three days week. Thankfully, this go around I am a stay at home momma!
Bryson
I had many cravings. Two of the strongest were BBQ sandwiches and onion rings.
Baby #2
I have had no cravings thus far. I have eaten more fruit than anything lately.
Bryson
I was hungry 24/7. Seriously, I couldn’t make it from break to lunch without a pack of crackers.
Baby #2
I have so many food aversions. Nothing sounds good and I have actually lost about 4 pounds.
I only have a few days left in my first trimester so I hope to start feeling better all around. I will continue to update with differences.
>Wow Whitney — I've been gone from blog reading and writing so long that I didn't know you were pregnant!! Congratulations!!
It would be great to have one of each, a boy and a girl. Another one of those old wives tales is that a girl "steals" her mother's beauty. So if you feel your face is not looking it's best with this pregnancy, this is supposedly a clue.
So excited for you — will you be sharing the news when you find out?
