If you had magical sunglasses, name 6 things you would like to see with them…
- Both of my late grandfathers. Some of my biggest regrets (yes, I admit to having regrets!) are in regard to them. I know that they do not hold anything against me, but I think if I could look them in the eyes and tell them how I feel, I would feel so much relief.
- The future. I would like to see where we are living, how many children we have, how we are doing financially, who we’ve lost, etc. Now, I know that would take the fun out of the journey, but I would settle for just a peek.
- My brother. At my mothers seven month checkup, they didn’t find his heartbeat. Although it was a few years before I was born, I have always known about him. As a child, he was my imaginary friend. Instead of Susie (or whoever), I remember talking to Ty. I just wonder what he’d look like and what kinda guy he’d been. It may sound weird, being as how I never knew him, but I have always missed him. I know I would have enjoyed having a big brother.
- A completely clean, uncluttered house. We all know the only way you will ever see this will be through magical sunglasses!
- Cures for cancer and HIV. This one is pretty self explanatory.
- My father-in-law completely clean and sober. I try not to bring this up too often here, but he was weighed heavy on my heart lately. I would give my pinky toe if this man turned his life around and never touched drugs again. When he is clean, he is an amazing, kind hearted man. He is absolutely head over heels for Bryson. When he’s on drugs, that man disappears. An irrational, irresponsible, unashamed, childish, unapologetic monster fills his shoes during those dark times.
