You are never too old for Hello Kitty.

I’ve loved Hello Kitty for as long as I can remember.  My mom would take me school shopping and I would pick out Hello Kitty pencils, backpacks, and clothing.  If it was made in a Hello Kitty design, I probably owned it.  My dad always said he thought I’d grow out of it.  Well, my dad isn’t wrong too often (hi, Dad!) but he was wrong about this.  I’m grown with a daughter of my own and I still adore all things Hello Kitty.

When I saw the new line of products at Sparkle Bee from Marino Andriani, I had an internal debate.  Should I opt for a Hello Kitty lamp for Bella?  Should I go for the Hello Kitty toaster?  In my moment of mom selfishness (and if you are a mom, you know this doesn’t happen often) I chose to get what I wanted, so the toaster it is!  Now, I can definitely justify that by saying the entire family eats toast and having Hello Kitty staring back up may convince Bryson to eat more… or not.

My new Hello Kitty toaster brightens up my kitchen and makes breakfast a little more fun.  Bryson thinks toast with Hello Kitty is pretty cool and Bella couldn’t care less.  She’d just like for me to give her some toast.  At 7 months old, she swipes food every chance she gets.  Even my husband admits the Hello Kitty toaster is much nicer than our older one.  It has several different functions and settings.   Don’t let the fact that this is a character toaster deceive you!  It’s great quality and mom-approved.  (By me, of course.)  You can find it for around $20, so it’s totally affordable and it has 4 out of 5 stars on a popular shopping site. 

Do you think I’d be pushing my manly husband too far if I got the Hello Kitty sandwich maker?
