Baby Bond Nursing Accessories

I knew from day one that I wanted to breastfeed my children.  There just wasn’t a question in my mind.  When Bryson was born, I cannot even begin to tell you how many people saw my boobs in the hospital.  Yes, I’m serious.  Honestly, it’s a bit embarrassing now to think of my aunts, uncles, even my father-in-law and what I’m pretty sure they saw, but I was too concerned with breastfeeding as soon as Bryson was born to care.  I hadn’t even thought of a nursing cover!  In the following weeks, we had a lot of friends and family over and I would have to sneak away to nurse in private.  While those moments were cherished, it was also lonely at times to hear everyone conversing in the next room while I sat and nursed Bryson.

I was bound and determined not to let either of those scenarios happen with Bella.  I’m just not the type of person that can pull out my boob for the world to see- even if I am feeding my child.  (If you are, more power to you, mama!)  Thankfully, I don’t have to worry, because Baby Bond nursing accessories are made for moms just like me.

Needless to say, I am 100 times more comfortable breastfeeding around others this go around.  It is what is best for my baby and I have no apologies it offends someone.  With that said, I am thankful for the Baby Bond nursing cover.  I don’t have to go into the other room or feel awkward anymore.

I have the Baby Bond Couture and it can look a bit daunting when you receive it, but it truly is a breeze to figure out and wear.  I love that it doesn’t cover Bella up like traditional nursing covers.  Those can get so hot and really, who wants to be sweating while nursing their child?  Not this mama!  One of my favorite things about nursing is looking into Bella’s eyes and that is almost impossible with other covers- not so with Baby Bond.  There is nothing obstructing your view of your nursing baby.  You can wear it two different ways and feed from either the top or bottom of your shirt.  It rolls up into itself and easily fits in your diaper bag or purse.  It is available in 5 different colors and I chose the “Espresso” because brown matches the majority of my clothing.  One last thing that I really like is that the instructions are on a small tag attached to the cover, so if you ever do get confused, you can look at the  tag and figure it out in seconds.
