It’s possible to breastfeed without a nursing bra, but I bet it would be a lot more difficult. I wanted to make sure breastfeeding would work for Bella and I before splurging on a good nursing bra. I bought a cheapie and well, you definitely get what you pay for. That goes for regular bras too, but especially a nursing bra!
I was thrilled when I found Bella Materna. Not only did I take the “Bella” part as a sign, because of my Bella, but after browsing around, I knew I had to try one of their bras. With some guidance from the owner, I settled on the T-Shirt Nursing Bra with an underwire.
I’ve worn this bra every single day for the past few months. I have zero complaints. Seriously, none. This is the best bra I have ever, EVER, worn. I am a long time Victoria Secret fan, but I would choose a Bella Materna bra over VS any day. The good news is that this nursing bra is made so that when you are finished breastfeeding, you can turn it into a normal non-nursing bra. How neat is that?
I can’t say enough good things about this bra. The foam cups hide nursing pads and give a natural look. You don’t look lumpy and bumpy. The hook and eye closure on the back allows for you to take your bra in as you lose the baby weight.
If you are nursing, I cannot encourage you enough to order a Bella Materna bra. You’ll come back and thank me after you try one on! I LOVE my T-Shirt Nursing Bra, but you may find a different bra you like. They also carry nursing bras without an underwire, pajamas, loungewear, and maternity clothing.
The T-Shirt Nursing Bra is available for $68 and well worth every penny. Visit Bella Materna to view their entire line of nursing products.
I received the above bra for review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions remain my own, as always. This is seriously the best bra I’ve ever owned.
