You may have noticed specially marked boxes of Cheerios at your local store during the month of November. They are no longer on the shelf, but if you have one tucked away in your pantry, you can still put it to good use. Cheerios has teamed up with the USO in a postcard campaign that spreads Cheer to honorable military families and supports USO programs. 
How it works:
- Cut out the post card from the Cheerios logo on specially marked boxes.
- Write a message of thanks on the back.
- Add a stamp.
- Mail the pre-addressed card to the USO.
From there, the USO will deliver the Cheer postcards to military families across the country. For each postcard recieved through November 2012, Cheerios will donate $1 to the USO to help fund programs that support our military families. Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards received from specially marked boxes now through November 30th, 2012.
