Y’all know I am a coupon shopper- not just in stores, but online too. I never make a purchase without comparing prices and searching for coupon codes. I came across a new site to help save money. PromotionCode.org is different because not only can you find promotion codes, but you can also take part and post codes. I like to think of it as a “by the people, for the people” kind of website.
To ensure that codes are working, they are spot-checked and visitors can vote on the success rate of codes. Neat, huh? If a code is found to be dead or not working, it is automatically removed. Each code shows you the success rate above it. Some codes you can click to redeem and others you will copy and paste on the merchants website.
I can’t tell you the last time I’ve paid for shipping. Shipping charges are almost always a deal-breaker for me. The free shipping codes page makes it easy to quickly find a code. Stores are listed in alphabetical order. You simply click on the store name and it’ll take you to that store’s page. From there, you can view the information. For instance, when I click on “west elm”, I see that I can get free shipping on Easter gifts through April 24, 2011.
One more feature that I really like is that you can sign up to be contacted when new codes are listed for a specific store. So, say you are waiting on a code for Target. You’ll just enter your e-mail address, then choose if you’d like to receive an e-mail weekly or daily, and hit enter. You can pick and choose which stores you want receive updates for. Now, that is awesome!
I used PromotionCode.org this morning & saved $5 on a purchase from zulily. To keep updated, be sure to “like” PromotionCode.org on Facebook and follow them on twitter.
