Bumbo Floor Seat Review + Giveaway

We purchased a Bumbo Floor Seat when Bryson was about 3 months old and it quickly became one of our most used pieces of baby gear.  Bryson loved it because it helped him sit up and see his surroundings.  We used it for playtime, feeding, and carried it on-the-go.  Paired with play tray, it was the perfect combination for allowing Bryson to snack and begin to learn how to feed himself.  Because the tray is so close to baby, they don’t have far to go with their food so it works wonderfully for exploration of new foods and toys.

We used that same Bumbo and Play Tray with Bella and it held up through both children, but it has definitely had better days.  Since our original Bumbo did not feature the harness and was worn out, I knew it was time to purchase a new one for Brynlee.  Thankfully, the folks at Bumbo must have read my mind since they reached out just in time!

The Bumbo Floor Seat featured here in aqua is similar to the original seat we owned but it has been improved with the addition of a 3 point harness.  While we never had issues with our Bumbo, I love the addition of the harness for added peace of mind and security for baby.  It’s still the same Bumbo with a contoured seat that’s soft and super easy to clean.  I love the simplicity of the design because babies are messy when first learning to feed themselves so the fact that there are no nooks and crannies for food to get stuck in is a huge help.  You can easily wipe down the Bumbo Floor Seat with minimal effort and it’s ready for the next sitting session.

The Bumbo Play Tray is a must have attachment, in my opinion.  It takes the Bumbo from just a floor seat to the equivalent of a compact high chair and play seat.  It attaches within seconds and can easily be stored and cleaned.  The play tray is two separate pieces that snap together then slides on top and under the Bumbo floor seat.  You can purchase the Bumbo Floor Seat and Play Tray as a set for $49.99 on Amazon.com.
