Let’s talk diapers today, shall we? Bryson finally potty-trained over the summer and is only wearing Huggies Pull-Ups at night now! With him, I was never a “diaper snob” meaning we tried all different brands. I think all moms will agree that not every diaper is created equal. Some are far better than others whether it’s the fit or the length of time they can be worn. From the get-go, I preferred Huggies diapers. Thanks to coupons and sales, I stockpiled about 100 packs of Huggies diapers when he was a baby. I trust Huggies Snug and Dry diapers, because they fit great, don’t leak, and we’ve never had a rash while using them.
I don’t coupon as heavily now and I recently found a great deal online for a different brand of diapers. At least, I thought it was a great deal. Lately, almost every morning when I pick Bella up out of her crib, she is soaked. The diapers leaked. A lot. It was almost as if she didn’t have a diaper on at all. That is not the way I want to begin my days and it’s no fun washing crib bedding everyday either. No, all diapers are not created equal. I’ve never, ever had a leaking problem with Huggies Snug and Dry diapers so we have switched back to those. We’ll use up the other brand during the day, but I’ll be sure to put her in Huggies Snug and Dry at night.
When I started to think about it, I realized that even if I was paying less per pack of diapers for the other brand, the cost was about the same, if not more. With Huggies Snug and Dry, Bella can wear them for hours and they don’t blow-up. She stays clean and dry even when her diaper is wet. With the other brand, I was changing her more often to keep the diapers from leaking, thus using more diapers in the process.
Huggies diapers were already affordable, but the Huggies Snug and Dry diapers are on Rollback at Walmart for $22.94 per box. A size 4 box contains 98 diapers. That’s a great deal! You can see our full shopping trip in my Huggies Snug and Dry Google+ album.
I can’t even begin to tell you how glad I am to have Bella back in Huggies Snug and Dry diapers. I didn’t realize just how much I missed not worrying about leaks until we put her back in them. We had a fun play-date this weekend and were out for hours. Not a single leak. I noticed that Bella didn’t pull at her bottom like with other brand either, so I feel it’s safe to say Huggies Snug and Dry diaper are also more comfortable for her. She jumped in leaves, inspected a caterpillar, ran around, and played her little heart out- comfortably and with zero leaks.
