I never take many photos on Christmas. Instead, I choose to just be in the moment with my children and soak it all in. I think I’m going to set up a video camera next year. My parents did that growing up- they had almost every Christmas filmed, but the videos were destroyed when our home burned to the ground. Ugh. Anyways, this is one of the only photos I snapped. Excuse the quality, I shot it around midnight on Christmas Eve!
It was so much fun to buy for a little boy and a baby girl this year. Bella and Bryson were both very into opening gifts and playing with their new toys Christmas morning. That shopping cart? It hasn’t gotten a break yet. Neither has the princess Cozy Coupe.
You may also notice that all of my ornaments crept their way up the tree. Something about little hands and shiny ornaments…
I hope you had a very merry Christmas!
I think some kids woke up VERY happy the next morning!
What a beautiful Christmas tree! I bet they were very happy little monkeys when they woke up!!
What a cute setup! I’m sure they were thrilled!
Beautiful tree! Your kids must have flipped when they saw all those awesome presents, how fun!
I bet somebody was happy with that play kitchen! So sorry your childhood videos were lost. Mine were too, though not in a fire thankfully.
Your tree is really darling.
Wow, your kids made out like bandits!
Oh my goodness I LOVE your tree! It’s gorgeous! <3
I remember having ornaments higher on the tree away from little hands… in a few years, they will all be really low on the tree because the kids will want to help you decorate and they can’t reach too high up. =) Great memories!
The gifs look awesome, I would be happy playing with lots of them.
Merry Christmas to your family! =)
Look at how nice and organized everything is. Such a pretty tree
Very nice! I hope they all had a blast.
We have to gate our tree off from little toddler hands. 🙂
I loooove that play kitchen and shopping cart! Awesome gifts.
Oh Whit. I took lots of pictures. They are so precious. They are not as good as what you would take, but they are of your babies on Christmas morning. You will have to get my memory card and download them. Love you!
Our tree actually has all the ornaments on the bottom as we let our 4 year old decorate this year and kept the fragile ones packed away. I too no longer take pictures on special days. I used to but then realized I rather be in the moment and have the memories of time spent with them instead of taking pictures of them.
Our tree ornaments worked their way up the tree too this year. Great set up! I bet they were so excited!!
Cozy coupes are the best!
That tree is beautiful! Awesome job!
Oh, I love your tree!! And look at that fun kitchen set!
What a beautiful tree! I agree I bet they were so excited about their gifts!
Wow, looks like your kids got some great presents!
It looks like you had a nice Christmas! I am sorry to hear about the house fire your family experienced, that must have been devastating. I wish they had little shopping carts like that when I was growing up, I would have loved it!
My ornaments always did the same thing!! Awesome tree and awesome presents. So fun!
Such a pretty tree and those are awesome gifts! I always take Christmas photos but they never turn out as we’re all half awake and I’m never in them lol!
I think it’s a great shot!!! Looks like so much fun! And you do have a beautiful tree!
[…] Christmas books. We made ornaments and cute preschool crafts. The kids were both very into opening gifts and we had a wonderful month. We were still playing outside during December, not that I’m […]
Gorgeous tree and I love the photo – great capture of a “calm” moment of Christmas. 🙂
