Our Top 5 Cups for Toddlers

As a mom to a toddler, I know how difficult it can be to find a good quality, leak proof sippy cup.  Through trial and error, while receiving some cups for review and spending my own money on others, I have come up with a list of our top 5 favorite sippy cups.

Born Free Trainer Cup

  1. Born Free Trainer Cup
While Bryson no longer uses this cup, it was the key to weaning him from the bottle to a cup.  Because it is shaped a lot like a bottle and the spout is soft, it makes the transition painless.  We used this cup every single night for about a month and he was done. done. done! with his bottle.  I also like that the handles are removable.

I received these cups to review about a year ago.  They quickly became our go-to cup and still are.  The only time they leak is when Bryson throws them down against our tile floors and knocks the valve out.  We rarely have that problem, but it does happen on occasion. We have two different styles, the 9oz with handles and the 11oz without handles and love them equally.Playtex Insulator Cup
  • Playtex Insulator Cup
These are my favorite cups to take on the go, because they hold ice and keep drinks cold for long periods of time.  I have never had one of these leak- ever!  I also like that they come in so many different designs.playtex sipster
  • Playtex Sipster Cup
This cup is almost identical to the above Playtex cup, just without the insulation.  We mainly use these cups at home.  They don’t leak and they hold up well to my rough little boy.Siliskin Cup
  • Silikids Siliskin Glass
I won this cup through another blog and it is the main cup Bryson uses for dinner at  the table.  I could not believe it the first time he threw it down on our tile floors.  I thought for sure I was going to be cleaning up a shattered cup, but no- it didn’t break!  I have no idea how it works, but it does!  They are quite expensive, in my opinion, but not having to clean up shards of glass?  I say it’s worth it!

So, there’s our round-up of toddler proof cups.  Each of these cups have held up well and rest assured, Bryson put them to the test!  Did I miss one you love?  Which ones would make your top 5 list?  I’d love to hear in the comments!
