Family Happenings

Family & Life Update

Our trip to the beach was wonderful, but it didn’t last long enough. We had so many commitments that involved the wedding, commitments that we had no clue about until we arrived, so we ended up with next to no quality, family time. We were both disappointed and frustrated, but we still enjoyed it. The wedding was simple, yet beautiful. It was so nice to see the family; we see them about once every three months, sometimes less. It seems like the kids have grown up in the past year. Not only have they all grown taller, their maturity levels are rising also, and I can finally stand to be around them. (I kid!) Justin’s cousin went with us and that was a gigantic help for the ride. Bryson was the greatest child ever.

We decided while on the trip that we need a bigger vehicle. So, we have spent the week SUV shopping. I’m not in a rush, I’d just like to have something before our next trip. We have found a Tahoe that we are going to drive Monday. We’ve looked at it, but the dealership had just bought it, so they were cleaning it up & the carpet was still drying.

If you live near a Ross, I suggest checking it out. I ended up buying Bryson 25 onsies, from Carter’s to Nike and Calvin Klein. I also bought him a pair of Robeez for $8.99. He will have to grow into them, but they were too cute and too cheap to pass up. If I had thought about it, I would have bought a few extra pairs to resell. I picked up a set of 3 canvas prints for $6.99. They are going to look cute in our hall bathroom.

The Children’s Place has a ton of clearance right now. I bought shirts for $0.99 that were originally $16.50. By now, most everything is picked over, but you still may find a few things. $5 shipping on all orders.

Bryson is teething. I’m begging those teeth to just come on through, but they refuse. I have my fingers crossed that it won’t be too much longer.

Look forward to another giveaway sometime in the next week or so. I also have a few product reviews coming. Remember, you have until Wednesday to enter to win a beautiful necklace here.
