For my husband’s 21st birthday I wanted to get him something special. I wanted something to let him know exactly how much he means to myself and Bryson. I also wanted it to be something that he would see each day. We are trying to live a more simple life, less stuff, so I wanted something that would have a place, small with a huge meaning.
I browsed Etsy for hours, looking for the perfect gift. I had no idea what I was looking for, but I knew it would find me if I’d just keep browsing. I came across a seller that had beautiful handcrafted metal jewelry. LoonSongDesigns has everything from earrings and necklaces to money clips. She has many different series including a Nature series, Inspiration series, and a Sports series.
I ordered Justin a “Custom Manly Message Cuff” with words that described him on the inside. I wanted so many words and amazingly, she fit them all beautifully and even added my name! It arrived in just a few days and I had to hide it until Justin’s birthday. I was so proud of it that it took much motivation on my part to keep it hidden and not go ahead and give it to him. When the day finally came, it was the first thing I did. I didn’t even let him get out of bed! He put it on that morning and he hasn’t taken it off. I love the way it looks on him. It is still as beautiful as the day he put it on. He has received many compliments on it and that’s from people that don’t even know there is a message on the inside. They just like the way it looks on the outside.
