what I'm reading

what I’m reading lately

Since I received the Aspire Switch 10 for review last month, I have been doing a lot of reading.  Before the Switch 10, I had to read either on my basic Kindle which has no light so night reading on the couch while Justin watches an action movie or in bed wasn’t possible because I couldn’t see or on my iPhone which is too small to read for long periods of time.  So mostly, I just didn’t read.  The Aspire Switch 10 has changed that for me and I remember just how much I love reading, how enjoyable it is, and how soul-filling it can be.  If I want to read on the couch, I use it as a tablet.  When reading in bed, I use it in display (or tent) mode and read totally hands-free.  I set a goal to read 12 books during 2015 which isn’t many, but it’s about 10 more than I read in 2014.  We are halfway through January and I’ve already finished 4 books so I may need to readjust my goal soon.

Intel 2in1 Switch 10

I find most of my books for free or cheap through Amazon.  I keep a running wishlist of books I would like to read and I quickly check it daily for price drops.  If a book falls below a certain price point, I snatch it up.  This way, I never run out of books to read and I always have several waiting in queue.  As a member of Amazon Prime, I receive at least 1 book for free every month as well.

With the Aspire Switch 10, I love that I can do everything with the Intel 2 in 1 computer/ tablet combo.  I can read books, surf the web, check out Facebook, create documents, edit photos, and use the Switch 10 as a tablet then snap on the keyboard and work on it as a desktop.  It’s lightweight and easy to pack- I carried it on vacation earlier this month in my backpack.  We are definitely enjoying it!

I’m so happy that I am back to reading regularly.  I can tell a huge difference in my overall mood when I take time to fill up on good reads!
