I’ve enjoyed playing with makeup from a young age and over time, I’ve learned a little about what I’m doing, thankfully. My junior year in high school, I discovered beauty blogs, makeup tutorials, and MAC cosmetics. I became obsessed and my entire minimum wage grocery store check went straight to MAC some weeks, haha. I loved experimenting with new colors and looks. Nowadays, I still love my MAC products, but I am more into natural looks. My entire makeup routine can be completed within 5 minutes and consists of department store and drug store brands.

My makeup bag is very basic and that’s exactly how I like it. I rarely wear foundation, but did recently discover BB cream and I love it. It has a very lightweight feel and SPF 35 protection. I cannot stand the cake-y feel of most foundations and I do not need a lot of coverage which is why I had given up on wearing it, but BB cream is the bomb.com. (Yes, I just said bomb.com.) Another new to me beauty product (not makeup) is Philosophy. How have I never tried any of their products before!? I splurged on a big bottle of Philosophy Shampoo, Bath, & Shower Gel and now I feel spoiled. You can bet I’m totally NOT sharing it with the little ones!
And of course, I can’t leave out Aquaphor. I keep a tube of Aquaphor Lip Repair in the bathroom at home and in my purse so I’m never without. I hate chapped lips (who doesn’t, right?) so I make sure to apply it throughout the day, before bed, and if needed, I’ll apply Aquaphor then layer my lipstick on top.

My must have product is Softlips lip balm. I’ve used Aquaphor before, but not in a long time. It would probably be good for my nostrils. They get dry because I’m a nose breather. Better than being a mouth breather, I say!

My makeup must have is bareMinerals matte foundation. I have never used Aquaphor products, but I’m definitely going to try the healing ointment. I love aquaphor healing ointment. I always have some in my purse. I use it for chapped lips and on my sons cheeks in the winter because they get chapped really bad, aquaphor usually heals them up overnight. I also recommended it to my friend last winter because her hands were dry and cracked really bad and she loved it too. Her hands healed up very quickly after using it.

I love aquaphor it saved me every time I used accutane. My face was so dry and it helped hydrate it.
My must have beauty product is Covergirl Tinted Moisturizer , and my Naked eye palette! I’ve not used aquaphor before but it would sure be great for my dry skin and my lips chap easily!

My makeup must have is my Stila Prime Pot in Taffy. I have a purple birthmark on my eye and it helps to completely cover it and keep my eyeshadow on all day. I use Aquaphor on my son who has eczema.

I can’t live without my CO Bigelow rose salve. I use it on my lips and hands. It’s super versatile and so moisturizing.

My must have is a pale shade of pink shimmery lip glass. I don’t wear a lot of makeup. Occasionally I wear mascara. I have a tube by Avon that I like a lot. And yes…chapped lips are the worst! I always wear lip balm of some sort under my lip gloss and alone.
