These photos were taken back in May when we attended Day Out with Thomas at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum for the third year. Like every other year, it was packed with family-friendly activities including story time, a petting zoo, inflatables, Thomas train tracks, blocks, coloring, temporary tattoos, and more. We’ve been fortunate it the past years that the weather was fabulous, but we were rained on this year. Still, Day Out with Thomas is rain or shine and most everything is either covered with a tent or inside. It didn’t bother Bryson and Bella to get wet so we braved the rain for some photos.
Even with the rain, we had a blast and can’t wait to attend Day Out with Thomas again next year! Getting to ride a real Thomas the Train is always a hit for the kids and the folks at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum put on a great event and really go the extra mile to make sure families enjoy Day Out with Thomas!

That looks so fun! We are in the Atlanta area, and every year, we talk about coming up for this… but we always forget, and by the time we go to look it up, it has already passed. 🙁
They come here in April! It is always such a fun event to go to!
I love seeing pictures of this, I always wanted to go when they were in town but my daughter isn’t a huge fan… just a little fan. Maybe if I take her next time, she’ll pay more attention to the show? It looks so cool and real! Glad the rain didn’t stop you guys.
It looks like you all had a wonderful time despite the weather. I always wish they would have something like this here. My seven year old adores trains and still loves Thomas.
