I seem to be on a “muffin” kick with the corn dog muffins and now these pepperoni & cheese pizza muffins. You won’t believe how easy these are to make! The first time I cooked them, I was stunned. I love homemade pizza, but prefer to keep lunch simple and these give me my pizza fix for a lot less effort. We may have eaten them for lunch and dinner and lunch again all in one week. If that did happen, there was not a complaint one. My husband actually raved about these.

- pizza sauce for dipping
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and Italian seasoning in large bowl.
- Whisk in milk and eggs. Add mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni and stir to combine.

- Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
- Serve with pizza sauce.
This recipe was a Pinterest find (where else?) and was adapted from these Pepperoni Pizza Puffs at Lick the Bowl Good. Enjoy!
These look so good!
I have to try these. They look amazing and the recipe sounds pretty easy. Love it!
These look YUMMY!!!!!!!
These look delicious! Really sounds like a good snack make ahead of time and carry on a boat trip.
Yum. I pinned this too. I think I will make a week with “Muffin” dinners using your corn dog muffins, pizza muffins and some homemade banana muffins for a breakfast for dinner deal. I will have to go online to see if there are any other muffin recipes to round out the week. Ha!
can’t wait to bring to the next party, game night, football day. could even make some veg some meat and use different color wrappers to show whats what pink for meat green for veg? love they’re real and not some “pizza dough in a tube”
[…] think it’s obvious that I love pizza. From homemade pizza to pizza muffins, pizza is probably my favorite food. These began as pizza bites, then I started calling them […]
What a wonderful recipe idea! My grandson loves pizza and would love to eat it in the form of a muffin! I’ll have to try this.
I keep my great grand children a couple evenings a week. and looking for something other than mac and cheese (which they love but I’m tired of) I’m going to make these and see if they will love them as well. Will post again after this week.
I made these this morning & they are fabulous!!!! I am taking them as part of a meal to a new mama. They were very moist and held together wonderful after they were baked. The only changes I made were:
I didn’t have mozzarella cheese so I used raw organic mild cheddar cheese & didn’t measure it, we love cheese so I am sure there is more than 2 cups, didn’t have parmesan so just didn’t use it. I sent my homemade pizza sauce for them to dip the muffins in. Next time I will add chopped jalapeno peppers & chopped bacon, my even add some cooked crumbled sausage (my oldest sons requests), will be more adult like since my kids are older and like spicy foods
Those sounds delicious, Suzanne! I may try the jalapeno & chopped bacon idea soon. Thanks for sharing!
These are the grand prize – how cool and how cute and how easy! no mess, no fuss! and the best part, the rave reviews! I’d love to make these and freeze them for those surprise visits, or when I’m not in the mood to be cooking, and don’t feel like ordering pizza! Wonderful idea!!
Making These Right now! : )
