One of my goals for 2012 is to make a weekly menu plan. I’ve done this on and off for the past 2 years, but it’s time to do it and stick with it. As I’ve mentioned before, I am a very visual person. If I don’t have a list of ideas in front of me, I can never think of what to cook. I found this really awesome editable and printable main dish menu planner. I added our meals to it, printed it out, laminated it, and it has a home on the refrigerator. This will be super helpful in my weekly menu planning!
My mom and I usually switch up nights, so a meal or two will probably be carried over each week. I love getting a night or two off and spending time with my parents over dinner. We are so blessed to have that kind of relationship with my parents. They are our best friends!

Ooh sounds good…I still haven’t attempted homemade pizza, want to try that one out.
Homemade pizza? mmmmm. Pizza is my birthday dinner (we are switching phases of our eating plan so we can have cheese that day!) I can’t wait even though it is 4 week away still!!
Lasagna is sounding great this week. Great choice. That is awesome that your parents come over for dinner that often. A lot of families have lost that relationship. I love that.
