Did you know that even one sunburn increases your child’s risk for skin cancer? That’s a sobering thought. As parents, we hold the responsibility of protecting our children from the sun. It’s up to us to keep them slathered with sunscreen and out of the sun during the harshest times of day.
We keep sunscreen in our vehicles and at home, so we are never without it. One of the easiest ways to keep kids protected is to have them wear UV protective clothing. Seasons UV offers a great selection of UV protective clothing and swimwear.
Bryson has the Superman 1 piece outfit and towel cape. I wasn’t sure how he’d like wearing a one-piece outfit, but as soon as he spotted the Superman logo, he was all for it! You can see in the collage above, that he enjoyed showing off his new Superman outfit to everyone! When it first arrived, we had no plans to go outside for a few hours, but I let him wear it around the house anyways. I zipped it up, then put the towel cape on and Bryson was ready to go. He acted like he was flying around the house, then he’d stop and say “TO THE RESCUE!” (I think he brought a little Buzz Lightyear to his Superman-ness?)
Since then, he has worn it around the house and swimming. I love that it covers a lot of his body, so I don’t have to worry about missing spots with sunscreen or slathering his entire body. I also like that it’s light weight and that it doesn’t make him hot. It dries quickly too, so he can hang out by the pool and then go play later without changing.
We have a beach trip planned for October and I can guarantee that the Seasons UV Superman outfit will be packed and ready for some waves!
Make your Superman’s day with this outfit! $39 is a cheap price to pay for peace of mind, wouldn’t you say? Sun safety is something I’m passionate about and if you’d to learn more, visit this page about sun protection.
