When I received a package containing some new Kleenex products, I immediately thought of my Gangan. Gangan is to me what Grandmother (or Mawmaw or Granny, you get the point) is to you. I have no idea why I started calling her that, but I was the first grandchild, so it stuck.
Anyways, my Gangan is the Kleenex queen. You’ll find them tucked in her couch cushions, in her purse, in her vehicle, and in every room of her house. You never more than an arms length away from a box of Kleenex if my Gangan is around. She even brings me boxes of tissue on occasion. (Hi, Gangan!)
So, now you know why I thought of her. As I was standing in the yard examining the new Kleenex products, my cell phone rang. Guess who? Yep, it was indeed the Kleenex queen! She must have sensed that I had some brand spankin’ new Kleenex products..
