If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time, you probably know by now that I love to save money. I use coupons, reward programs, and shop around. I’ve found that you never have to pay full price online. No matter what you are looking for, it’s probably on sale or discounted somewhere on the web.
When I came across a free shopping app that I could easily use as a Firefox add-on, I knew I had to try it. (Side note: if you are still using Internet Explorer, join the rest of the world & download Firefox.) I downloaded the app the other day and I’ve used it ever since. When I say “used it” I mean that it has checked prices for me and I haven’t had to do a thing. Awesome, huh?
I’ll explain. If I’m looking for a certain product on Amazon.com, PriceBlink will automatically pop up and tell me if there is a lower price available and if not, what the next lowest price is. It will also inform me if there are any coupon codes available. Even if you aren’t the type of person that likes to shop around, you will enjoy this add-on, because you can save money without checking prices. It checks for you, right down to the shipping costs.
Honestly, I can’t think of any reason not to use PriceBlink. I hope to see them add more retailers in the future and continue to grow. As someone that gets a thrill out of saving money, this little add-on has made my day week. If you don’t want to take my word for it, it has a 5 star rating with over 133,000 downloads!
P.S. If you don’t use Firefox, Chrome, or Safari, you can still go to the PriceBlink website and search for coupons or create a wish list.
