Earth Mama Angel Baby Organics Review

This giveaway is now closed and the winner (clarissa@) has been contacted via e-mail.

Breastfeeding can be tough.  Worth it?  Definitely, but tough, nonetheless.  From supply issues to painful nipples, it seems like there can be a million obstacles in the way.  I recently had the chance to try out a product from the Earth Mama Angel Baby® line.

Current-Special

They make products for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding mamas, and baby.  Here is a little bit of information from the Earth Mama Angel Baby® website:

“We use the highest-quality, certified-organic or organically grown herbs and oils for our teas, bath herbs, gentle handmade soaps, salves, lotions and massage oils. Our products are 100% toxin-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances and dyes. Our commitment to honor the earth and her valuable resources extends to our packaging as well – we use only eco-friendly recyclable or reused/reusable packaging and packing materials. It’s true – we are even the proud recipients of the BRAG (Business Recycling Award Group) for our green practices.”

Natural Nipple Butter

I have used their Natural Nipple Butterduring the past month with great results.  I had developed a small but seriously painful crack a couple days before this product landed on my doorstep.  I suspect it was from a lazy latch, but for whatever reason, it was there and it hurt.  I immediately started using this product and within a week, I was completely pain-free and healed.  It helps moisturize and protect your nipples.  Even when I first started using it, I could feel the pain letting up a little more after each application.

Two things that I really like about Natural Nipple Butter:  #1:  it isn’t sticky, at all!  and #2:  You don’t have to wash it off to nurse.  With other products I’ve tried, Bella wouldn’t nurse until I had completely washed the product off.  I don’t know if it was the stickiness or the taste, but it was a hassle and seemed like a waste of time.  With EMAB, I can apply it and she’ll nurse like it’s not even there.

You can buy a 2oz jar of Natural Nipple Butter for $14.95 and it will last you a long time.  A little goes a long way and I’d be willing to bet that my jar will last years.

We received the mentioned products to assist with a review, but no other compensation was provided.  All opinions remain my own.
