My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow Review

I am so excited to kick-off my breastfeeding blog event with a product that I love and use every. single. day.  Multiple times per day.  There are quite a few nursing pillows on the market now, but after receiving a My Brest Friend Deluxe Pillow , I can say that it is 100% my favorite.  Honestly, I gave my other nursing pillows away after using the My Brest Friend.

If you’d asked me how I liked my other nursing pillow, I would have told you it was good.  I thought I had no problems with it.  Thought– key word there.  My back and neck were both giving me problems, but I just assumed that was normal when you were nursing for hours on end.  Well, after making the switch to the My Brest Friend Deluxe Pillow, I can tell you it isn’t normal.  With the right posture and support, you will be completely comfortable.  My back and neck problems have disappeared.  I’m still exclusively breastfeeding- the only thing I changed was my nursing pillow.  Looking back now, I can see how slumped over I stayed.  Because of the way the My Brest Friend Pillow wraps around you and stays in place, you don’t have to slump to get the correct latch.  It’s wonderful, I tell you!

It has velcro so you can make it fit snugly and I have even used it standing up.  It’s fabulous, because I cannot tell you how often I get settled in to nurse and realize I’ve forgotten something.  With the My Brest Friend Deluxe Pillow, I don’t even break her latch.  I just stand up, leave her attached, and do what I need to do.  One other plus is the built in pocket.  It will hold snacks, a bottle of water, my cell phone- just whatever I need close by. You can almost guarantee when you see me blog hopping or on Facebook that Bella is nursing while laying on the My Brest Friend Pillow.

It does take a bit longer to put on and I can’t do it while holding Bella.  I have to sit her down for a moment while I wrap it around and snap it in place.  It probably takes less than 15 seconds, so it’s not a big deal to me.  If you’ve saw her photos, you know she isn’t going hungry!  I also like to put a small pillow under it just to help keep everything in place and because it makes it feel more safe for me.  I’m super paranoid about her rolling off, so while it isn’t necessary, I prefer to have the throw pillow under my nursing pillow.
