One thing most mom’s are picky about is their diaper bag. With Bryson alone, I had four and was never happy with any of them. With Bella, I still haven’t bought one because the one I want the most seems a bit expensive for a diaper bag. (Or maybe I’m cheap?)
It didn’t take me long to figure out that carrying a large diaper bag around is a hassle. Most of the time it’s packed with things you really don’t need- mostly “what if?” items. Because of this, I usually leave the diaper bag in my car and carry a purse in the store/wherever. If I do truly need something, I know it’s in my car and I can run out and get it. I can count the times that has happened one on hand, so not very often.
I recently got my hands on an Infantino Savvy Bag and it’s prefect to take on the go, in stores, restaurants, etc. I carried it shopping just last week and I fit more than I thought possible inside (yes, it still closed!) Here is what I had in mine:
- 3 diapers
- Pack of wipes
- 1 receiving blanket
- Pacifier (not that she’ll take it!)
- 1 4oz bottle of pumped breast milk
- Cell phone
- Cash, cards, & ID
I don’t know about you, but that is all I need to go shopping or out to eat, so it worked perfectly. Not only did it hold everything I needed, but the print is gorgeous and it folds out into a changing mat! Looking at it, you would never guess it was made for a baby- it looks more like a purse. The changing pad is removable and easily cleaned, so no worries there.
If you are tired of lugging around a diaper bag full of “just in case” items, I highly suggest getting one of these. Leave your diaper bag in the car (you won’t even have to get it out at home anymore) and take the Savvy Bag on the go, in the stores, to dinner, etc..

>Oh my goodness, I have something similar and I have to agree – it is the most amazing little bag. Mine isn't nearly as cute though, and I think a bit smaller – it actually fits inside my own purse! Which is so nice!
