I love how a new year almost makes me feel like super-woman, even with a baby due any day. It’s an excuse to start new things and try some out that I should have much sooner. One of those things I’m trying out is a monthly menu plan.
Yep, you heard right. I sat down and made a menu plan for the entire month of January, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays. I left those blank, because we eat dinner at my parents at least one night a week. By leaving two open slots each week, I will be able to move meals around to accommodate the nights we eat at their house and at least one leftover/ fend for yourself night per week. I also chose to set small themes for each day of the week to help me along. You’ll notice that Thursdays are Mexican night, for instance.

You can click the links to view some of the recipes. I have a few lined up to share for random “Tasty Tuesday” posts. The bad news? I still have to go grocery shopping for the month! I’m hoping that using a monthly menu plan AND once a month shopping will help cut our grocery bill. I’ll let y’all know how it goes!
Happy New Year!
>Two thumbs up for you for planning everything so well!! 🙂 I need to be better about that this year. Your meals look great! Thanks so much for the visit (and the Follow)! 🙂 Hope to see you again soon.
>Hmmm…I made my February menu already but I might still this one for March! It looks good!
