Miss Bella Grace,
You have officially been with us 27 weeks. I cannot believe it is going by so fast and that you will be here in around 13 weeks from now. As excited as I am too meet you, I could cry at the same time because time seems to be flying by.
If how you act in the womb is any indication, you are going to have as much energy as your brother and your dad and be as stubborn as your momma. At my last check-up, you wouldn’t sit still long enough for them to get proper measurements of your heart. Everything else looked great, so we are going to try to get a good look at your heart at my next appointment. You move around and kick like crazy. One night, I actually felt your foot sweep across my hand. I say you are stubborn, because as much as you move, you will not let your dad feel you. You can be going wild, but as soon as he puts his hand on my tummy, you stop- instantly. So far, he has only got to feel you twice!
We have a picture of you in our living room. It sits in a white frame up on a shelf. Your big brother points too it and says “Baby Sis.” I have a feeling he is going to be a huge help to your momma. We had a cousin born in August and he just loves to help with her. He wants to hold her, rock her, feed her, make sure she is covered up- he calls her “his baby.” I know he is going to love you so much and be the best big brother ever.
Your dad and I are finally getting started on your room and it is so much fun for me. I hope you love it as much as I do. You will be surrounded by color- turquoise walls, yellow furniture, and a pink crystal chandelier for starters. When it comes to clothes, you already have some of the cutest dresses. I just couldn’t resist them and I know you are going to look adorable in them.
You should probably know that you will spend your life explaining to everyone that your parents did not name you after a vampire movie. I am sorry about that, but we have had your name picked out for years and weren’t going to change it just because a very popular movie happened to come out. You were Bella before you ever were at all.
